Raymond Goldstone ASCA Foundation Sexual Misconduct Institute Scholarships

The Raymond Goldstone ASCA Foundation Scholarship is a monetary grant to be used towards registration costs to attend the ASCA Sexual Misconduct Institute from November 6-9, 2016 in Kansas City, MO. The purpose of the Scholarship is to advance the professional development of colleagues involved with the resolution of Title IX/Sexual Misconduct cases, as well as, broader student conduct responsibilities.

Two annual scholarships are available to support first time attendance at the Sexual Misconduct Institute.

In addition to meeting the above criteria, successful applicants will be selected by Foundation Board members based on: evidence of demonstrated student conduct interest and experience to date, ability to articulate present and future goals related to Title IX and student conduct practice, and a clear ability to secure necessary supplement funding to support attendance.

Before you complete your application, you will need a letter of support from your supervisor and a copy of your resume which should be uploaded at the end of the application.

August 17th – open applications

September 12th – close applications

September 30th – applicants notified by ASCA Executive Director

October 24th – registration closes

Application Questions and/or Requirements:

  1. How will attendance further your development as a future student conduct professional?
  2. Describe your demonstrated interest and experience in student conduct administration and Title IX/Sexual Misconduct issues to date (include student volunteer roles, internships, etc).
  3. Have you/how have you been involved in ASCA and how will your attendance further your involvement?
  4. What are the other funding sources and amounts that you will use to attend the Sexual Misconduct Institute?
  5. Provide a letter of support from your supervisor that is directly related to why you should be selected for the Foundation Scholarship.
